Site Information

The Touring Site

Our touring site consists of 19 individual privately situated pitches. Each pitch is separated by hedging and all have a hardstanding stoned surface and grassed area which both differ in size from pitch to pitch.  Please do refer to the map for the pitch sizes before booking to ensure your unit will fit on the pitch.

All pitches are fully serviced and provide you with a 16amp electric hook up, fresh drinking water, a grey water point for piped waste, elsan point and water tap.  We cannot currently offer washing, toileting or washing up facilities so please ensure your caravan or motorhome has these.

We ask that you do not use toilet chemicals on our site so please use an environmentally friendly alternative.

On Arrival

In order to allow us to maintain your pitch and clean & disinfect your taps and electrical hook up, we ask that you do not arrive before 12.30.  Please check in at the reception area on arrival. Should the reception be closed (we have children who need to be dropped off and picked up from school so please bear with us!) you can pitch on your allocated pitch and check into reception during opening hours.  You will be notified by email of your pitch number 2 days before your arrival.

Pitching Up

All pitches should be reversed into and the rear right side of your caravan or motorhome must line up with the white marker at the back of the pitch. Your unit and awning or porch must fit between the 2 white marker posts. This is in order to comply with national Fire Safety Regulations. When you arrive we will provide a few guidelines to help you pitch up, but should the reception be closed when you arrive, please refer to the pitch notes on your welcome email.  All belongings must be kept within the boundary of your pitch to ensure roads are kept clear at all times.

The Reception and Shop

Our small shop area is stocked with basic essentials as well as drinks, snacks and bbq charcoal.

We are open daily between 9.00am-10.00am and 4.00pm-5.00pm (but may close during quieter times).

If you find the reception & shop is not open please do ring the contact numbers provided as we are usually here somewhere or not too far away (possibly picking up children who have missed their bus!)  If we are able to we will be more than happy to open up the reception or shop for you (please, nothing after 9pm though!)

Late Arrivals

Anyone arriving after 9pm must notify us in advance by phone. As the double access gates at our entrance will be closed you will be admitted by appointment only. If you arrive after 9pm you will be classed as a late arrival and we ask that you do not pitch up on the site unless agreed beforehand.  Within the car park we have 2  late arrival spaces, complete with 16 amp hook ups, however this is on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.  We appreciate the cause of any lateness may have been out of your control and we will always try to accommodate you wherever possible.  This may be in another part of the parking area and will not have any facilities.

Disabled & Limited Access

Our site is suitable for wheelchairs & scooters.  Our pitches are all level and the entrance to the reception/shop is easily accessible.  However due to the slope on the road and the stoned surfaces it may be necessary to use a motorised wheelchair/scooter with suitable wheels. The field has some stoned areas of road but due to the slope it may not be suitable for all types of wheelchairs/scooters.  The refuse area is accessed via a gently sloping stoned incline; however should you need assistance with your bins please just call us and we will be more than happy to help you.

The Field

Our field can be used between 7am and 10pm for ball games, frisbees, rounders etc but please respect your surroundings and other site users.  Children must be supervised at all times.  Please do keep out of the farmer's field next to us as there will either be crops growing or animals present; they may not be visible but they will be there!

Visitors

Your visitors are more than welcome on site during the day but must park in the separate car park rather than on the site.  The site owners must be notified of visitors, either in reception or a quick phone call or text.  No overnight visitors are allowed unless pre-arranged and have booked in.

Elsan Point for Motorhomes

We have a separate elsan point for Motorhomes and this can be found in the car park, please refer to the map for the location.  We ask that you do not use toilet chemicals on our site so please use an environmentally friendly alternative.

Fire Safety

There are 2 fire points on the site (please refer to the map).  Each fire point contains an alarm bell and a cabinet housing

2 x water extinguishers for use in the event of a fire only.

Refuse Collection

The refuse area is located at the top of the site (please refer to the map).  The bins are labelled for your convenience and we ask that the correct bins are used for your general waste, mixed recycling and glass recycling.  All general waste should be placed a black bin bag and securely tied before being put into the dustbins provided .  All recycling should be cleaned before being disposed of correctly. Please DO NOT put hot charcoal or ash in the plastic bins.  Please use the steel bin provided for COLD charcoal or ash.

Checking Out

Please vacate your pitch and check out at reception no later than 10.30am on the day of your departure.

Looking to the Future

We have BIG plans for the not too distant future! These include a heated shower & toilet block, a washing up room and launderette, a larger shop, a salty wetsuit/muddy dog/dirty bike hose down area, the Tree Tops fully licensed restaurant serving breakfasts and evening meals, a 9 hole crazy golf course and bespoke children's play zone with a separate enclosed toddler area.
